Bumps with pus

I have noticed since the past eight (8) months I have been having small bumps with pus on my torso, arms and legs.  Initially I thought it was chickenpox because of their appearance.  I have had chickenpox before.  I doubt chickenpox would be on this long.  I have no fever or pain.  They appear randomly one, two or three at a time.  They last about two days then break.  They are painful and carry a creamy yellow colour.  After breaking the areas itch a bit and leaves a dark scar.  I estimate that since tis onset I now have about sixty scars on my body as a result.  I have been to the doctor twice with now answers.

Hello,
Without examination, confirmation of a diagnosis is tough, but it sounds like folliculitis or boils. Folliculitis is the inflammation of one or more hair follicles. The condition may occur anywhere on the skin.It starts when hair follicles are damaged by friction from clothing or blockage of the follicle. In most cases of folliculitis, the damaged follicles are then infected with the bacteria Staphylococcus (staph).

Pls keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics and cold compresses. Also use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove.Avoid any kind of cosmetics. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment are also useful. In case the symptoms persist then oral antibiotics may be needed.Pls consult a dermatologist in that case.

I hope that helps. Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries. Kind regards.
