DO I HAVE ECZEMA?

FOR ABOUT 2 MONTHS, I HAVE DEVELOPED THESE SMALL CIRCULAR DRY SPOTS THAT MAKES MY SKIN FEEL LIKE THE TEXTURE OF A FOOTBALL OR BASKETBALL, AND THEY FEEL SO ROUGH AND COARSE.  CAN ANYONE LET ME KNOW IF THIS IS ECZEMA?  THEY APPEAR ON MY UPPER BODY AND NOW ON MY FACE.

Hi,

Are there other symptoms present? Eczema, a form of dermatitis, may present with dryness and recurring skin rashes, redness, swelling, itching and dryness. There are many types of eczema and to be able to diagnose this, direct clinical examination of the lesions is important. Keep the area clean and dry. And try to avoid scratching to prevent secondary infection. You can read more about this through this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eczema

Take care and regards.
