Spontaneous appearance of dark lesion on penis foreskin

Hello, I would just like to get an opinion...

A year ago, I noticed a spot on the foreskin of my penis (uncircumcised). While it was as large as a pin's head, this has noticeably grown over the last year and is about 1.5-2mm when the skin is stretched (see attached picture).
It is quite difficult to find a Dermatologist in the area where I live, so I would like to know whether I should be worried and seek an expert's opinion.

Thanks!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
From the symptoms it can be a mole or a penile melanotic macule. Penile melanotic macule is a small, sharply circumscribed, pigmented macule surrounded by normal-appearing skin.
You cannot remove them at home. Cryosurgery using liquid nitrogen and laser are the main treatment modalities.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Thank you.

I have seen my GP about this and he was not concerned, however he did not perform a thorough examination (light, magnification etc.) and he did not think necessary to refer to a specialist.
