Daughter has sudden red spots turned brown on hands/face

My 7 year old daughter suddenly got a rash on her hands.  A few spots have shown up on her face.  While I think the spots have stopped spreading they seem to be getting darker.  They look like sun spots on a older person.  She feels perfectly fine, has not been sick, and they don’t itch, hurt and are not raised in anyway.  We have been to one dr who said it could be a post viral rash but she hasn’t been sick and the spots don’t seem to be fading after 10 days. Any ideas..

Since they are not fading after ten days- I'd go back for a second look at them.  It's a good sign that they don't hurt, and that they have stopped spreading - but since they aren't getting better, it's a good idea to get them checked out again.
