MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi

Dermatographia refers to raised skin ( secondary to edema or swelling) when one applies certain pressure on it .This may be a form of hives or urticaria and the exact explanation for this is unknown. I understand how frustrating this may be but allergic reactions may be persistent and recurrent. The best way to prevent this from happening is to avoid any of these known triggers. Taking oral antihistamines or corticosteroid may be the mainstay for allergic reactions.

I would suggest that you undergo allergy skin testing just to pinpoint possible triggers. As for dermatographia ,atopic individuals or individuals prone to allergies may usually present with this. This may be persistent .

Avoid milk fish and the antibiotics that you have been taking recently. Inform your attending physician about this.
