Itchy Armpit

About 2 days ago, I noticed a blister like itchy rash appearing in my right armpit. It is incredilbly irritating, with also a burning sensation to it. The irritataion spot is red with one bigger "blister" and a few smaller ones above. The "blisters" have white spots on them. It is also very bumpy and feels hard, like there maybe something inside.

I have NOT eaten anything new, used a new deoderant, nothing like that. I am curious to find out what could be the cause of this.

I should mention, I have had this before ( this is the 4th time in several years). When I went to a clinic the first time I had this they told me it might be some sort of insect bite, possibly spider. It healed with no problem, just irritation and such. Although, it seems unlikely to me that I would get bitten by a spider in the same exact spot on 4 seperate occasions, each occasion, being different.

I also have never had chicken pox before, but I have been vaccinated. Somebody mentioned shingles, but it is only on one spot and I really don't think so. But just FYI.

I have attached a picture to help describe my symptoms. You cannot quite see the discoloration of the skin in the picture. I hope it will help.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
These itchy armpit blisters can be due to contact dermatitis, impetigo, tinea corporis or pustular dermatosis. Summer sores is another name for impetigo. It is a superficial bacterial skin infection. Primarily caused by Staphylococcus aureus and sometimes by Streptococcus pyogenes. Topical and oral antibiotics are the treatment of choice. My sincere advice would be to consult a dermatologist and get it evaluated.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
