Excema over my face and neck

I've suffer bad from excema for many years now and regularly get it on my face, my eyelids and beside my nose. It has come up all over my face and neck now. Its very red, angry and peeling off in sheets. Its not that itchy but has spread wide. It hurts to open my mouth wide as it feels like my face is going to crack. I've only had it this bad a couple of times before but its so bad at the minute. I've been putting E45 on it and my steroid cream on but nothing is working. I haven't eaten or used anything I haven't had before What could it be?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
In most cases of eczema no one treatment will be effective. Medical research shows that the most effective treatment plan for eczema involves using a combination of therapies to treat the skin and making lifestyle changes(prevention of triggers and application of lots of moisturizers) to control flare-ups.

Along with the medicines( steroids and antihistaminics) you need to apply plenty of emollients or mositurisers. You should also get high potency steroids prescribed from your dermatologist.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

i have heard that cammomlie tea is good for excema, i know of someone who uses it to wash her babies in, and it has cleared he baby boy's excema right up, which was all over his face....worth a try eh?! i will be using it for my next attack...i find i get it when im stressed/anxious ...but it could be anything, you would have to keep a journal of all the things you do, eat products youuse to wash in, incl your clothes and cleaning products..and then slowly test by introducing a certain thing for say a week, and see if it brings about a reaction, it would be a long process of elimination
