What are these red itchy bumps on my knuckles and elbows?

I have these red itchy bumps on both my knuckles on my index fingers and elbows, there are quite a few and swell up when i itchy them, they are very painful if i even lightly hit them against something however don't hurt otherwise. Also they are extremely itchy to the point unbearable at times and also burn if irritated. I had thought at first it was psoriasis but they aren't scaly or even dry. They never go away however they do shrink in size until they get itchy again. HELP!
