Thanks for the reply. I think my eczema is almost under control it was more the cysts i was worried about. Just wondered if there was anything i could use to reduce them or stop them when i feel one coming. Im lucky in the way that they dont itch or hurt at all just hard lumps that dont look to great!
Thanks again
Hi,
This could be related to the eczema or could be secondary to pimples, follicultis, etc. Your doctor may prescribe anti-itching medications called anti-pruritics or antihistamines, such as diphenhydramine (Benadryl) or loratadine (Claritin), to help alleviate itching.
Wet or cold compresses can help alleviate itching, increase the effectiveness of the topical creams and minimize blisters.
For mild-moderate eczema a weak steroid may be used (e.g. hydrocortisone or desonide), whilst more severe cases require a higher-potency steroid (e.g. clobetasol propionate, fluocinonide).
It would be advisable to consult a skin specialist for your symptoms and a proper clinical examination.
Let us know if you need any other information and post us on how you are doing.
Regards.
