Green spot (freckle?) on skin

Hi,

My daughter is 4 weeks old and was born with a very small bright green spot (freckle?) on her scalp.  Does anyone have any idea what this could possibly be?  Should I be concerned?  Can freckles be colored like this?

Hi, I'm a 37yr old woman. About 8 months ago I noticed a green-blueish freckle on my cheek. It haven't caused me any problems but I'm just curious if anyone has a similar situation and if I should get it checked. Thank you!!

Hello,
I cannot confirm anything without examination,but it sounds like a birth mark like Mongolian spot.

These flat birthmarks can be deep brown, slate gray, or blue-black in color.They mostly fade by puberty but can remain permanent also.

If unsightly then you can have them removed by NdYAG laser when she grows up.
