HELP ME!!

dear sir/madam
I am an 18 yr old boy from india.
I have been having dry skin ,inflamation and lots of small pimple like deformations around my nose, cheekbone and chin for the past 2 years.I was never affected by this before.on searching the web i feel that i may be suffering from Seborrheic Dermatitis and on going through a lot of forums i came across nizoral as a treatment for the problem.
what i would like to know is that-
1.Am i suffering from Seborrheic Dermatitis
2.is nizoral shampoo an effective remedy to the problem
3.can nizoral shampoo be applied to the face and how often.

i have gone to a dermatologist who recomended me to apply efaderm cream for it however it does not appear to be an effective longterm solution to the problem.
any help would be greatly appreciated since i am completely fed up of the recurring problem.
please do be frank on the problem and the remedy aswell as the side effects that the nizoral shampoo may have.
                  thank you

Hi,
This seems to be more like acne.Acne vulgaris (commonly called acne) is a skin disease caused by changes in the pilosebaceous units (skin structures consisting of a hair follicle and its associated sebaceous gland).  Acne lesions are commonly referred to as pimples, spots, or zits.
Acne is most common during adolescence, affecting more than 85% of teenagers, and frequently continues into adulthood.
Widely available OTC bactericidal products containing benzoyl peroxide may be used in mild to moderate acne. The gel or cream containing benzoyl peroxide is rubbed, twice daily, into the pores over the affected region.
Oral antibiotics used to treat acne include erythromycin or one of the tetracycline antibiotics, but this is required only in severe cases.
Apart from this ,keep skin clean. apply non-oil based moisturizers to prevent dryness of skin and avoid stress.

Nizoral shampoo is used only for scalp seborrhoea, not on the face.
