Herpes Zoster on Foot

I'm 43 years old. I had grouped blisters in my foot, one blister above the belly button, one blister  in the back and one blister in the face. A Doctor told me it was disseminated Herpes Zoster. Another one told me it was not Herpes Zoster.  However I took acyclovir and pregabalin. The blisters had gone completely but I still have some pain (not constant) in the foot after 4 weeks. Honestly and due the nature and locations of the lesions, I'm not completely sure it was Herpes Zoster.  My blood tests were OK, and also no positive HIV. I'm really confused about what happened and why the pain continues in the same foot region  (a small soreness in the area still noticed).  I want to mention that two months before I felt some kind of pins and needles/electric shocks in the same foot area. Any help or clarification about this?
