I got a big scrape on my shin, it’s turning purple on the edges...is this bad ??
I was doing box jumps and missed one and scraped my shin pretty bad. I cleaned it as best I could and applied peroxide and all as much as I could. Lately it’s pounding and I saw a purple color on the edges...it’s been a week since the accident.

It's always hard to say with just a brief description, if you should worry- but it sounds like the wound may not be healing? If it's pounding, hot to the touch, you have had a fever, or you notice any red streaking, pus coming from the wound, it's getting red around it and the red is expanding- those are signs of infection and you should have someone take a look.
