I have a scrotum itch from an year

I am 19 years old now I got this scrotum itch a 8 months back that my scrotum skin became dry and started to peel off in a scaley type and whole scrotum skin started itching after a month it started getting worst I showed it to the doctor he said to apply clotrimozole candid cream and some tablets it was controled at that time and moment when I applyd the cream but if it's left without applying the cream the itching starts and will get worst now about 9 months over still it's not curred and I while scratching the skin got a tiny cut in that scrotum skin now I don't know can I apply the clotrimmozale cream I don't know what to do

Have you contacted the doctor that advised you previously to let them know that the condition is persisting?  Did they diagnosis this as a yeast?  Are you keeping the area clean and dry?

Yah they gave some tablets but then to it's not working out yah am keeping the area clean and dry and applying clotrimozole cream to avoid itch even now what is it? Yeast infection or what  does it goes of or stay the same?
