MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL

Hello,
There can be many skin conditions causing bumps on arms and forearms and folliculitis is one of them. Folliculitis starts when hair follicles are damaged by friction from clothing or blockage of the follicle. In most cases of folliculitis, the damaged follicles are then infected with the bacteria Staphylococcus (staph).

To rule it out and rule out the other skin conditions get an evaluation done from a dermatologist.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Dear Patient123456,

There is no way to comment on this without seeing it or at least having more of a description.  There are many different skin disorders that can behave the way you describe.

I recommend a consultation with a board-certified dermatologist for a more definitive diagnosis and treatment.
