In need of urgent help due to toothpaste burn on my face!

Well around two weeks ago I noticed a large pimple on the left side of my chin. I decided to use the home remedy technique of applying toothpaste. Biggest mistake ever! I woke up the next mourning with a huge red mark where the spot was. I tried applying various creams. Over the next few days it became very flaky and my skin became very dry. It then pealed off over time, however now there is a dark red/brown mark. It is highly frustrating as my acne is finally starting to clear up. If anyone has any information on what I can use to get rid of this mark it will be very helpful. Thank you
