Is Atralin on Arms, Legs, Abdomen Safe/Beneficial During Weight Loss?

My weight has yo-yo'd twice in my adult life (once in my early 20s and now in my mid 30s), and I'm currently on the decline for the second (and, I hope, final) time. I'm a little concerned about loose skin because I am older and this is my second time being >200 lb. In addition to maintaining a healthy eating and exercise plan, I'd like to do as much as possible to minimize loose skin. I currently use Atralin 0.05% for acne, and I've read that retinol can help build collagen. Is it safe to apply the Atralin to my problem areas (upper arms, legs, and lower abdomen) every night during my weight loss? I expect to reach my goal weight in April 2012 (7 months from now). I plan to see a dermatologist in early 2012 to discuss lasers and dermabrasion, but I want to know what I can do in the meantime. Thank you.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
For such skin, Injectable fillers,  botulinum toxin  injections, dermabrasion, laser resurfacing, chemical peeling, and microdermabrasion can be used for smooth and supple skin.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
