Is this due to hormones?

Hello,

First off, I'm going to describe myself:
-20 year old female
-Asian descent
-Skinny and petite
-Virgin
-My family has migraine, diabetes, high blood, and asthma background.

My symptoms:
-I've had acne since I was 13
-Irregular periods (not sure when it started, I didn't track my period back then)
-Used to have heavy periods as well (I haven't been getting them lately)
-PMS (cramps, headaches/migraine, acne, etc)
-Had trouble peeing once, because my vagina hurt so much when I try to do so (it lasted for about 2 weeks, and disappeared without medication)
-Kind of hairy (and I have few hair above upper lip, few on my nipples and anal area)--Is this hirsutism?
-Our family doctor diagnosed me of skin asthma
-Sometimes my vagina and butt part gets itchy
-Discolourations, dark pigmentations on my underarm, inner thighs, and back of my neck (I've had these since I was 13-14 as well)

I went to see our family doctor and told him about my irregular periods (only). He gave me Yazmin birth pills, but I don't want to take them, as I'm scared of the side effects. I've been using HQ on my hyperpigmentations but I can't see much of an improvement. So far, I believe these are causes of hormonal imbalance. So I'm thinking of **** Quai herbal pills if it's cause of hormones. I would appreciate any kind of help, because I'm already getting depressed from this. Please consider everything I've said because I'm having hard time trusting doctors now, unless I describe everything, and I can't do so because I'm really embarrassed. Thank you in advanced.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
First of all you need to get an evaluation done for PCOS. PCOS causes cysts to form on the ovaries, interfering with regular ovulation. Symptoms of this syndrome include: irregular periods, excessive hair growth, weight gain, acne, dandruff, high blood pressure, and infertility. You can get tests like 2 hr GTT, serum androgen and testosterone levels, LH-FSH ratio, prolactin levels, TSH levels,17-hydroxyprogesterone levels  and 3D ultrasound done.3 D ultrasound is the golden test for diagnosing PCOS.

Regarding the hyperpigmentation, it depends on the type of hyperpigmentation whether it is post inflammatory or due to hormonal balance. The vaginal odor can be due to bacterial vaginosis. Bacterial vaginosis is vaginal condition that can produce vaginal discharge and results from an overgrowth of normal bacteria in the vagina. Treatment is by antibiotics.

I suggest you to get an evaluation done from an endocrinologist. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
