Is this thrush?

For about a week now i have had white patch that started off as a small line but then grew into a patch
it does not look like thrush though has no resemblance to cottage cheese
it is a thin white coating that can be removed but when i remove it it my tooth brush blood comes out for about 5 seconds then stops
after white coating is taken off a rough outline is left on the cheek
as well i dont know how to classify this
it does not seem like a sore throat/
when i eat and drink does not hurt
it feels more of a dry itchy feeling ive had it about for 2 weeks now
i had an std work up three after encounter and it came back clean
is there a need to get another one done again?

Hello,
It can be due to thrush or lichen planus. Thrush appears as white patches in the mouth. Usually they can be seen on the tongue, inside the cheeks, under the tongue, and in the back of the throat. I suggest you to get an examination done from your doctor and get a KOH examination of the scrapings done of these white coatings.

Im hoping its not ulcers also i hear there also symptoms

it starting to go away now healing
im just really hoping everything is ok
the sore throat kinda concerns me its been about 3 weeks now
it doesn't hurt to eat or drink
it just feels like somethgin si there but after i talk for awhile it starts to feel irritated
im jsut hoping its not hiv or somehting i got tested at 3 month mark but i think may have been a week or 2 early than three months
i think sore throat may be just allergies or something

It sounds to me like a tonsil stone or just a simple mouth irritation. Have you been eating anything different or taking a new medicine? Even if you bite your cheek or something it could be slightly infected or irritated. Some people might say to rinse it with hydro peroxide just don't swallow it.

can some one tell me how to determine if it is thrush?
what characteristics it has
and can sore throat for more than 2 weeks can be allergies or something else other than HIV
i dont smoke
it doesn't hurt it more like you can feel it
when i eat and drink its fine but when i talk for little awhile it starts to get sore
other than that it feels normal
