Itchy Lips
My lips are itchy. It started with a slight dark patch on my upper lips. Now it has progressed to where my lips feel itchy around the edges. I have been applying Neosporin and hydrocortisone cream. Should I be doing something else?

This could be due to inflammation or due to an allergic reaction.Allergies are common causes for itching and it can be from anything like food,medications,chemicals to personal care products like lipsticks/lipo balms.
Check the expiry date of any such prodycts and never use them beyond that date.
Also make sure to use products with a safe repuatation.
Sometimes it could be due to the chemical composition of the cosmetis which can trigger this.
Take a Multivitamin every day and just apply Vaseline over the lips 2-3 times a day.If it does not respond then you can try a Corticosteroid ointment.Always keep them well moisturizesd as dry lips tend to crack.
