Hello, how contagious are warts ?

I have had warts on my hands for about 2 years now and am wondering if someone could answer my questions about then because I am very paranoid. I have been treating them this year with cryotherapy which seems to work, but whenever I get a cut, they come back, also because I sometimes pick at them.
Can they can contaminate food ? Is is bad if I wash dishes with warts on my hands? Can they be transmitted everywhere on my body and to others through a massage? Do they also contaminate clothes ? Exactly how careful do I need to be? Because this has been going on forever And I am making another appointment soon to try cryotherapy again.
