Scalp lesion

Is it possible for glass to be imbedded in my scalp 35 yrs after a car accident where I went through the windshield? I have recurring sharp knife like pain where lesions occur on the top of my head. I did pull slivers of glass out of my nose and brow area for about 15 years.

Hi,

You can have definite evidence if there are still shards of glass left through imaging techniques such as x-ray or CT scan. However, post traumatic injury may also result to headaches even after a few years of the car accident. If it persists, have this evaluated furtehr for proper management. Over-the-counter pain medications may also help.

I am going through a similar incident and no one believes me and thinks I am crazy.  I got in a car accident, where a 18 wheeler truck hit my car and glass was embedded in my head.  Every once and while I get lesions on my head and feel glass.  Please tell me more.
