Itchy, red, sore & wet testicles

I have recently gotten itchy, red & sore testicles, in between the folds on my testicles is wet, this wetness eventually covers my whole scrotum overnight or when I cant clean them. I assume this is a fungus of some type. Especially when I wake up, I get these sort of flakes of dead skin (I think it's skin, it's really gross). It's important to add that I'm a virgin.

So far all I've done is let as much air and light on my testicles and use baby powder to soak up and stop the wetness.

Is this serious or something that should soon go away? It's quite worrying.

Have similar problem.  Worse at night.  been to GP and Dermatologist.  Zoels and cortisone have done nothing.  Antifungals do nothing.  Lamasil tablets worthless--have taken several years.  Tea oil, Vicks no help either.
What could it be and/or could it be cured?
Only could get one PA to visually inspect it.   Dermatologist gave a quick glance and gave hydrocotosone .  It was worthless also.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
One of the likely cause for your symptoms if intertrigo. An intertrigo usually appears red and raw-looking, and may also itch, ooze, and be sore.

You should keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove. Avoid any kind of cosmetics.Topical zinc oxide cream like Sudocrem, Desitin are very helpful(apply with a paper towel and not directly with hands).Application of mild steroid cream like dermacort also helps. For the itching take some over the counter antihistaminic like benadryl or Claritin. In case the symptoms persist then antifungals may be needed. Please consult a dermatologist in that case.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
