Nair Cream Burn

I used Nair bikini cream yesterday to remove that unwanted hair and the cream started to burn, so I quickly remove the cream with cold water and the tool that is provided in the package. After the cream was remove the area was inflamed and throbbing. The area is still inflamed, red, throbbing and there is now a pus like substance coating the area.

What's going on? Is the pus-like substance normal? How should I treat the area

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It can be due to contact dermatitis to Nair. Avoid using any lotions and creams for the meantime. Wash the area with a mild cleanser with moisturizing properties like Cetaphil. Then apply a good hypoallergenic moisturizer over the area and see if this improves. If the symptoms still persist then you can apply mild steroid like dermacort and give anti allergic medicine like Benadryl.

If the irritation persists then get it evaluated from a dermatologist.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

It's not normal.  You could try 100% pure clear aloe vera or perhaps the kind of Neosporin CREAM antibiotic that has an anesthetic in it.  It is not the ointment and you have to look for the cream with the anesthetic in it.
