Non itchy painful bumps, molluscum? fungi infection? (could use some help)

So I've had these non painful itchy bumps around my neck shoulder area for the last 2 weeks. It occured on the same spots were I have eczema. The area was dry and scaly. I did not apply my eczema cream yet and I went to several walk in clinics were they diagnosed the bumps as molluscum. They've managed to freeze some but not all as they weren't sure themselves.

The bumps that were frozen did go away and I went to see my family physician, she saw the rest of the other bumps didn't think it was molluscum and diagnosed it to be a fungi infection on my eczema. So she gave me lotriderm cream and my eczema eventually went away and some of the bumps got smaller.

But it did not completely go away. I even tried to pop one of the bumps, no white pus came out. So I thought I ask in the meantime since it's hard booking an early appointment with a dermatologists. Takes several months.

Some background information
- play contact sports
- allergic to peanuts, fish
- mild asthma

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
From the symptoms it looks like folliculitis rather than molluscum to me. Molluscum presents as multiple, small, dome-shaped papules, often with a central depression or plug and can spread from one body part to another by autoinoculation.

Apply warm compresses, Neosporin ointment and calamine lotion and avoid messing with it. You  can take anti-inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen or acetaminophen. If the lumps persist then it will be best to get it evaluated from a dermatologist.

I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
