i have visited some of the sites suggested in the above post.. there is great info out there.. i hope youll look for it. i was born with eczema and im 22 years old. I have read on some of the sites that eczema is a sort of autoimmune problem.. please look this up as i am not a doctor and dont know the facts. i would hate to misinform you. good luck and i wish you the best. p.s. i dont like all the stuff that doctorshave prescribed me in the past as i feel most of it was more harmful than helpful and have recently run into mustela baby products...i dont know their entire line but i tried the face wipes and they cleared me up right away. i am so thankful for fate having let me find them. lol. the stuff is made for babies so its alot more gentle than crazy stuff they prescribe. i hope that youll check out the line and see if theres anything that may help before resorting to medicine and steroids and who knows what else. happy hunting!
From everything I have read. Eczema itches incessantly. The only way he would feel pain is if it were infected and open. However if the skin is very dry and cracked it would hurt. I wouldn't describe that as pain. The British sites give a much better definition of eczema. eczema.net, talk eczema, eczemavoice.com. There are tons of sites.
Does he have the classic symptoms. Dry itchy, red, inflamed skin?
