There are conditions that can not be cured, but can be managed and Lichen is one of those.
If you have been diagnosed with a Lichen problem, then all you can do is manage the condition. You are not the first person to have this condition, and no doubt will not be the last.
If you are so suicidal, then you must go back to your doctor and explain how you feel. Lichen problems are not life threatening, just very uncomfortable. Feeling suicidal is life threatening.
Go to your doctor to seek help for your depression as soon as possible and the correct medications to manage your condition.
Can a doctor please respond i'm close to suicide. I've been crying non-stop for the past two days? From everything I've read online their doesn't seem to be a solution!!!!!!!! And how would I get the membrane on the glans to regenerate and regrow back, it's as if it shed away and will never return!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Balanitis which is inflammation of the glans as you no doubt already.
The treatment of this depends on the cause of the problem.
As you have told that it possibly could be Lichen Sclerosis, unfortunately there is no cure for this. This is usually treated with topical steroids or other creams if the steroid cream does not work. You will have to use it as instructed by your physician.
Also do not use any soap, shower gels as this will make the condition worse and will it will feel more sore and itchy. Your physician could prescribe you with an emollient like Doublebase, Dibrobase, Dermol or similer to use to wash and moisturise the area in between the steroid cream.
I don't know if your physician would be able to prescribe you with Trimovate to try. Trimovate is an antibacterial and an antifungal cream.
You may find that the condition may settle down and then flare up again. You will need to learn to manage it, by using the creams and moisturisers you get prescribed.
Like I mentioned above, do not use anything on there that will aggravate the condition. Also do not wear any tight clothing and only wear cotton underwear.
Hope you get the right creams to manage your symptoms.
Best wishes
