Popped a pimple in my pubic area and now it will not heal, is this normal?

I popped what looked like a pimple on my penile shaft. This led to it becoming more red and angry looking. I put a bandage and some neosporin on it and that seemed to help but for the last several days there has been no progress. It has become a faint pink spot on my penis with what looks like a little tiny hole in it when I stretch out the skin. Is this a pimple scar? I dont know what they are really supposed to look like but I know the penis skin is very sensitive. Please help!

It could be turning into to staph infection. The tiny hole is what makes me think that. Watch out and make sure that hole doesn't start looking black. If it is staph you better get to the doctor and get antibiotics or you're gonna be in some real pain. But anytime you have some weird spots in that area it's best you get checked by a doctor anyway!

It has not hurt for the past few days, not since the days after the immediate popping and I started putting neosporin on it. But I will keep an eye on that hole. It is just like a pinhole and only is visible when I stretch the skin out.
