Proactive!!

Hey, I finished my accutane course like 5 months ago and my skin has been really clear but recently I've been breaking out some and would like to try out proactiv. Do you think this would be safe? Do you even think proactive works? Let me know thanks (:

NO, IT REALLY DOES NOT WORK FOR ACNE just some light skin break outs but not cystic pimples -the kind that are big bumps under your epidermis-for real acne you need to go to a dermatologist get on real medication (oral and washes /topical lotions)  ! BUT IF your looking for a expensive skin wash for blackheads -oily skin- go for it :)

I USE PROACTIVE AND IT WORKS SOOOOOOOO GOOD. THE ONLY THING IS YOU HAVE TO USE IT AS DIRECTED AND BE CONSISTENT WITH IT. IF YOU DO, IT WILL CLEAR UP YOUR FACE AND KEEP IT CLEAR EVEN THE BLACKHEADS!!!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
For acne, if Accutane has not worked, you can resort to other treatment options. You can prevent and treat acne by changing your lifestyle like eating proper diet, getting a good amount of sleep and drink at least eight glasses of water daily.  You can also treat acne by cleaning your face regularly, using skincare products, apply antibacterial topical medications. With the help of the doctor, the treatment of oral antibiotics, contraceptive pills, retinoids, cortisone injections, chemical peels and laser treatment can be your choices.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
