Rash on inner thigh/groin area

I have a rash on my inner thigh groin area and it's rather large. It's a bunch of red circles with whitish purple centers. Its a little itchy but not that bad, almost unnoticeable at times. Here is a link to a picture of the actual rash I have,

The ointment in my experience will make it worse, i always use the CREAM  with aloe as helps it to dry. The ointment keeps it sticky and leads to scratching. Also sounds like some hair folicles are infected.

I have been using some cortisone ointment all week and it's not seeming to help. I'm wondering if maybe they're hives? I just looked up some pictures and it looks almost exactly like some of those breakouts. I just started a new job and don't have health insurance for 30 days so I'm trying to treat it at home. If I can't get it to go away I will go to the doctor I'm just trying to avoid a bill like that if I can help it.

In summer our body is moist with sweat and in winter its dry and pants rubbing on the leg esp the sensitive inner thigh will surely cause a rash. Ive seen pic of ring worm and there small circles, really doubt you have that. Try putting some of the over the counter 1% cortizone cream with aloe. I get this all the time and its hard to control. Maybe change your soap to hypo allerigic and scratcing will only make it spread with finger bacterial.

I am in cold weather but I'm not wearing anything different from what I wear in the summer time. Just my underwear and jeans. I'm wondering if it's some type of jock itch or ring worm rash?

It's not bothering me much just at night really is when it itches. It seems to be getting worse instead of better though.

Hi and welcome. ive had this symptom before and was from tight pants or even perfumed creams. Its like a heat rash. Are you in cold weather now wearing extra clothing?
