Razor bumps on legs

Hello!
I noticed recently that I have some pretty intense razor bumps on my legs. They show up on part of my lower leg, and a lot on my thigh. I use a moisturizing shave gel, I change my razor blade monthly, and I use lotion after I shower. The bumps are small and red, but not itchy. I'd like to know how to prevent this and treat it easily. Thanks! :-)

Thanks, I'll look into those! Any recommendations? My skin can get sensitive at times, so I would need something gentle.

Maybe try some other method of removal other than the razor and see if it improves. thing with razors, they remove the hair but also remove any bumps like a rash and turns into a cuting and healing thing.
Ive heard that some of those cream removers work well. Give it a try. and let us know how if it worked.

I live in Southern California, our winters aren't too bad at all as far as dry weather goes. It's actually been raining more than it's been dry.

Hi Julsey, do you live in an area that is in winter, which makes the skin dry and more sensitive to abrasions/
