Red Spot on Right Side of Nose That Won't Go Away

I have this spot on the right side of my nose that is redish pink that scabs with skin. I leave the skin over the spot because then it doesn't look as red. But eventually the skin peels off with no pain and the red spot is visable again. Sometimes i wake up in the morning and the skin is gone. But as quick as the skin peels off, it scabs with skin again. It's an endless cycle. I sometimes use concealer so that it doesn't look red and I don't know if this has something to do with this problem.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
This spot can be due to dry skin, eczema, seborrheic dermatitis or psoriasis. Seborrheic dermatitis is usually caused by overgrowth of Malassezia furfur. This skin disease commonly affects adolescents and young adults, especially in warm and humid climates and is aggravated by sweating and humidity.

To confirm the diagnosis, get it examined from a dermatologist.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Looks like a localized seborrohea.Could be a contact dermatitis to spectacles or other allergens.A little vaseline could do the trick in dry seborrohea. Do consult yor doc.
