Red blotches cover my arms, what is it?

For the past few years my skin tone has been the color red, but only on my arms and my thighs.  My upper arms have little red bumps all over them, but they dont itch, and then my lower arms are just red and splotchy.
It's super embarrassing and I just want it to go away.
I don't know what this is or how to get rid of it.  Any kind of help would be appreciated

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Keratosis pilaris rubra is one such possibility which needs to be ruled out in your case. Treatment includes tretinoin or Triamcinolone cream or Adapalene, a retinoid medication. Exfoliation, intensive moisturizing creams, creams and lotions containing alpha hydroxy acids and urea may be used to temporarily improve the appearance and texture of affected skin.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
