Red spots on my penis

I had fever and cough in last week. At that time I noticed that I had some  5-6 red spots on my penis and it was slightly itchy on the first day.Now the red spots have been reduced to three, doesn't feel itchy, but is still persisting for last one week.I have taken some heavy doses of paracetamol and after that some antibiotics for the fever.I never had sex with anyone and I masturbated the day before the fever. What is the reason for these red spots and what I have to do?

Hello,
You can consult a pharmacist and get Neosporin ointment. It is to be applied for 7-10 days, three to four times daily depending on the severity of rash, but it is advisable to consult a dermatologist first.
Hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries.

Will I get Neosporin ointment without doctors prescription? How many times in a day the ointment has to be applied?

Hello,
Without examination, confirmation of a diagnosis is tough but it can be contact dermatitis, rash due to friction rub, folliculitis, cysts ,molluscum contagiosum(multiple, small, dome-shaped papules, often with a central depression or plug) or genital warts(caused by HPV infection).

Apply warm compresses, Neosporin ointment and calamine lotion and avoid messing with it. You  can take anti-inflammatory pain killers like ibuprofen or acetaminophen. If the lumps persist then it will be best to get it evaluated from a dermatologist.
I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted in case you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.
