Serious Lip Problem

Hi everyone,

This is a continuation from my post just over two months ago about my lip problem, which has worsened. I'm not sure what it is and the doctor can't figure it out either, yet after 4 visits I am yet to be referred to a dermatologist, saying it will clear itself up. This began about three and a half months ago and seems to get worse when I am in cold areas, but then doesn't seem to get better. Basically, as can be seen from the photo, there are a few problems, which I will outline:
Firstly, the top of the vermillion border of my top lip has white spots merging down into it. At first this may not seem so obvious. The yellow circle shows a patch of redness amongst the white. This ‘redness’ is my actual lip and shows how the white is moving down into the lip. I am unsure what this is, but it also hurts and I suppose just above it (area between nose and lip) itches.
Secondly, the red circle shows the corner of my mouth. In this area it itches and has faded my lip partially. I can’t explain this much more than I have, but there also appears to be a flaky yellowish look to the skin near the edges as can be seen.
Finally, the most obvious problem. As can be seen, my top lip especially has a serious case of something (I wouldn’t exactly call it ‘chap lip’, the bottom also has a similar, but not as serious, problem). It is not a reaction to a lip balm, but I have been putting Blistex on it when going to work (in a butchery, which is in a cool temperature). If I don’t, it gets even worse than can be seen by the picture. However, I have worked there part time for almost a year and this did not occur in the first 8 months and hence I feel as though this has occurred due to the onset of some condition.
A bit more detail about the problems as a whole. Itchy lips, sometimes feel as though they are burning, top lip seems inflated in the area enclosed by the blue oval. Also, the definition of the vermillion border from the skin appears to be becoming dim. I describe the general problem as my lip losing a ‘protective layer’ as when I brush my teeth, the toothpaste dries to my lips, but doesn’t wash off as one would assume it would. It just sits there as though it has become fused with my lip. This may sound stupid but it may help determine the problem.
Can anyone help me with this, as it is quite a lot to deal with (both the pain and the embarrassment)? Thanks in advance.

The problem in the corner of my mouth seems to be something that only occurs when I wake up and does not seem to be Cheilitis..

I have discovered additional information. When I exercise or sometimes when I wake up, I have a thin layer of white mucus on the line on my lip where the 'chap' starts. Also, food sticks to it. The 'whiteness' just above my lip is also getting worse.. I NEED a solution this problem!
