highly contagious white bumps, what are they???

My sister has these little white bumps on her arms and she said they are really contagious and that if she touches one then touches another part of her arm that a bump will show up there too.  She also said that a doctor told her it was molecticum something or other (I have no idea how to spell it and can't remember the other half of the word). But the thing is she didn't go to the doctors office he was just at her appartment so idk if he is a real doctor or if he knows what he is talking about.  I'm really nervous that I'm going to get it because she is moving back in with me and always uses my make up and takes my clothes and touches pretty much everything else I own even though I tell her not to.  I need to know what these bumps are, what causes it and how to prevent getting it.

My mom just bought her some ointment to put on it, i'm not sure what it's called, but she's supposed to put it on 3 times a week.  Is she still contagious while she is using it?  Also I read online that it's bad to share clothes and she has wore mine.  Would just washing them like normal take care of it?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
The symptoms are suggestive of molluscum contagiosum. Molluscum contagiosum is a common, benign, self limiting , contagious viral infection of the skin. They are multiple, small, dome-shaped papules, often with a central depression or plug. Treatment includes physical destruction or manual extrusion of the lesions, cryotherapy, and curettage.

I sincerely advise you to consult a dermatologist and get it ruled out.

I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
