Skin wrinkling and peeling from head of penis

Hi Dr. The last two times that i have had sex , 24 hrs afterwards the skin on the head of the penis has become very wrinkled and then peeled off. However on this last time the shaft of the penis has become very lumpy with large 5mm plus fatty or flid lumps all over the front of the shaft. The only time I can remember anything like that on the shaft was when I used an antiitch liquid for scalp on my pubiic area and had a similar reaction when some got on my penis. I have used nothing new in the way of medications. I have had itchty scrotum on and off for years and  use Egoderm for that; when the itch gets too bad I use combined skin ointment Clotrex. Please help, this is very embarassing. Alan

Thanks so much for this advice. I took oral an antihistamine tablet and the following day the welts had gone. The skin on the head of the penis has peeled off and now there seems to be no problem. I am wondering in hindsight if it was a lubricant of the condoms I used. I had not used this brand before.

Thanks again for you help.

Hi,

This could be an allergic reaction to some unknown substance or dermatitis or eczema.

You need to wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products .

Apply calamine lotion at the site of the lesions and see if it helps. You could also take oral antihistamine medications for your symptoms if required.

Nothing can be said with surety about the diagnosis without having a look at the lesions.

It would be advisable to consult a skin specialist for your symptoms and a proper clinical examination.

Let us know if you need any other information and post us on how you are doing.

Regards.
