Brown Spots?

For as long as I can remember I have had a small brown mark in a certain spot on my penis. I never inspected my penis up close until recently and noticed more brown spots on the underside and some on the penis head. I doubt they are an STD since I have had the one since before I remember, can anyone shed light as to what they are? Am I the only one with them?

Hello,
Trauma due to excessive masturbation can cause small petechiael hemorrhages under the skin but it cannot cause brown hyperpigmented spots. Lentigo is a small, sharply circumscribed, pigmented macule surrounded by normal-appearing skin. You cannot remove them at home. Cryosurgery using liquid nitrogen and laser are the main treatment modalities. Seborrheic keratosis is a benign skin tumor. I would recommend a dermatologist’s consultation for this to confirm the diagnosis.
I hope it helps. Take care and regards.

Thank you, I haven't been able to see a Dr. but they are flat and small, they just look hyperpigmented and completely flat. I've had one of them most of my life, and I read it could just be discolored from trauma due to excessive masturbation, is that a possibility?? Please respond Dr. I appreciate your help.

Hello,
These brown spots can be freckles, penile lentigo, lichen planus or seborrheic keratosis or warts( both of these are raised). Lichen planus is an inflammatory disease that affects the skin and the oral mucosa, and presents itself in the form of papules(flat spots) or rashes. A dermatologist’s evaluation will be the best to confirm the diagnosis.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
