Small whitish reddish lump on lower penile shaft

A couple days ago I found a small, soft, mildly tender lump on the underaide of my lower penile shaft. The center of it is a whitish tented skin color and the outside surrounding area is reddish. It is basically painless just easily irritated, if that makes sense. I have also just recently noticed, I am unsure if it was there the first time I noticed the lump, the skin just above the lump seems to be kind of stretched out. The hole where hair would grow through appears to be widened and stretched. Also the skin above the lump almost resembles a kind of burnt or scared skin look. What do I do and what could this be?

Thank you for your help... I saw a doctor and he said it just looks like an ingrown hair and that we just need to monitor it.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello
From the symptoms it can be a small clogged pore, cyst or some benign skin growth. It is filled with a soft, whitish brown material that sometimes oozes out onto the skin's surface. This material is called sebum. Treatment includes small surgical opening into the skin and removing the sac (excision biopsy). But recurrence is quite common. I suggest you to get the diagnosis confirmed from a dermatologist after examination.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
