Smoothbeam burn blisters and scarring?

Hello everyone,

After dealing with hormornal adult acne for 5 years, I turned to Smoothbeam.

I had Smoothbeam done for the second time 5 days ago.  Soon after the procedure, I developed 7 blisters on my face.  Out of my 7 blisters, 5 have popped already. I think two of them popped on their own after a day, but I popped three of them by accident.  Sigh.

The popped ones have taken crescent shapes. One of the open blisters without a blister roof looks bright red, indented, and burnt which has me worried about leaving a scar.

None of them look infected though since I've kept them covered with Bacitracin at all times. I'm not sure how my scars will heal without blister roofs to keep them protected.

Keeping these moist is the way to go?  Letting them for scabs is a bad thing, right?

I still don't know if I am taking care of these properly since I was only told to keep applying Bacitracin on these burns by the laser office.  I won't be able to see the doctor for a few days, and I need some help.

How do I take care of these properly to minimize scar formation?
How should I take care of the open blisters that have popped prematurely?
I have looked everywhere online for information but could not find an answer.

Thank you.

Hello,
Sometimes blister formation is there after smoothbeam laser therapy and it will disappear within a few weeks of treatment. Follow the routine that you are following and keep the blisters covered with antibiotic cream like Neosporin.

I hope it helps. Take care and regards.

Any ideas?  I'm still not sure what's best for minimizing scars.  Not much is out there on post laser surgery proper care.  I was not given proper instructions on post treatment procedure which really upsets me.  I did not expect blisters.  I haven't been able to see the doctor yet.

Is it best to keep open blisters moist and prevent scab formation?

Thx.
