Sore between buttocks

Hi,

Between my buttocks about half an inch away from my anus,my skin feels sore.there is no rash,or any signs of an infection.my doctor has looked many times but still no signs.
I notice it more when I sweat and walk.

Any ideas what it can be,also if it's due to sweating and chaffing, what can I use down that's safe please.

Any help is appreciated ,thanks all

Hi,
No other symptoms,no trauma a either.
I think it is caused by sweating and chaffing, but because my Dr cant see anything,he is at a loss.
Can I use any creams to help with the sweating and chaffing ?

Thank you Dr Santos

Hi,
How are you? Are there other symptoms present? Was there a previous trauma to the area? It is good that you were able to see your doctor already and have it evaluated. Aside from rash, itchiness and intense 'pins-and-needles' prickling sensation may also be observed with sweat dermatitis. This condition may be affect other areas include skin folds, areas of the body that may rub against clothing, such as the back, chest, and groin. Keep the area clean and dry and wear light, loose clothing. Topical analgesics may help provide relief. If it persists, have this checked by your doctor for proper management. Take care and do keep us posted.
