Should I be concerned about a bug bite that turned into a pimple?

I was bit by something while I was outside with my mom. I did see it and squished it during the bite so I can say it wasn’t a mosquito but it was definitely something that could fly. Well, I instantly had a dot of blood appear, not from killing the bug but because of the bug biting me. I was bit either Tuesday or Wednesday of last week. The past few days following the bite, it’s been EXTREMELY itchy and unbearable, not like a mosquito bite. Not to mention it was also on the palm of my hand which made it worse. Anyways, today is the following Monday and it has turned into a pimple like thing. I’m just concerned it could’ve been laying eggs in my hand, since I know nothing about it or what it was. I tend to overthink. Any ideas?

I doubt it was laying eggs, but it could be that it left a stinger in you- depending on what it is.  Keep it clean, you can also try to see if you can't get the stinger out (but make sure you are very clean when doing this)- by squeezing it.  If it continues to get worse, see your doctor to take a look.
