From what I understand, sometimes they can be and sometimes they can not. Have you called the doctor who prescribed you the steroid to let them know about the side effects you are seeing? How long has it been since you took the medication?

It's almost 2 years ...not daily but I used to apply cream rarely

Since that is a longer term use, it may take a good amount of time for it to go away, but it's best to consult the doctor that you were using the prescription under to be sure and see if they have any suggestions.
