Strange rash on arms, torso (pics)

My husband has a rash on his body that the doctor thought was ringworm. He put him on a horrible pill and gave him cream, but the rash doesn't appear to be improving at all.

It started with a rash on the back of his hand. Roundish, spreading outward, cracked, scaly, tiny blisters. It went away for a couple of months, and then came back with a vengeance. Then he started getting patches on his arms, torso, one on his neck, between his fingers. ..

We just don't think it's ringworm because it's not spreading to anyone else and is been months. He holds our 15 month old all the time. It's only on him.

I'd be curious to know what you think. He'll be going back to the dermatologist in a week or so.

Thank you! After reading about Nummular dermatitis, I'm thinking that's what's going on (except he seems a bit young, it seems more typical in older men, but otherwise it prefecture describes it).

Thank you for the help!

Guess that is more in favor of a nummular or neurodermatitis.

Sorry!

It does itch, and burns. Sweat and heat seem to make it worse, and it seems to raise around the edges when irritated.

He works as an electric motor technician, and it is not an air conditioned facility. So he spend a lot of his day hot, and also comes into contact with a variety of irritants.

More like a Neurodermatitis, you did not mention about itch.
