Sudden Formation of Painful Blisters on Leg

Two weeks ago I had a sudden onset of throat pain that focused on the right side of my throat. My lymph nodes were very sensitive and swollen and my tonsils and the surrounding area were very red and painful. I read recently that viral Pharyngitis has been going around my area. Yesterday, around 9 AM, I woke up with a painful red area on my left leg that included two blisters. The area was very warm. There was a red line leading away from the area toward the general direction of the lymph nodes in my groin and toward my heart. The pain radiated from where my leg connects to my hip down to my knee, on the front of my leg. Over time, the blisters have grown, but the redness and pain have reduced. The blisters have become darker... a darker yellowish red. The red line that was leading away from it seems to be gone. There is still a burning sensation associated with the pain from the blisters. The blisters almost look like I poured hot water on my skin, but I didn't do anything or change anything that could cause a reaction. One is now the sizeof a goldfish cracker, the other is similar. I haven't noticed any oozing from them yet. Is this something that should resolve on its own or is it something that needs medical attention? I mentioned the part about my throat because I know that an infection there may lead to other issues. Also, what doctor is best to see if I need to go to one? I'm uninsured and am looking into local urgent care centers, but am curious if it's wiser to just put that money towards a visit to a more specific kind of doctor? Thanks.

Oh yes, the photos for any dermatologic condition are depicted the very worst in images!
However your condition should settle quite well now that the body has tackled most of it,but then you may need antibiotic for resolution of the infection.
Cheers.

Thanks for the comment.  I looked up your suggestion and I don't think that is what this is, but some of the images looked crazy!  I had no idea.  I'd post an image of my blisters, but I haven't seen a place to do that.  Maybe I should make them my profile picture, lol.

Hello and thanks.  :o)  I am not diabetic, but I do believe my father's mother had it due to her being overweight.  Something else I was considering is a staph infection??
