Unknown hole in my palm. plantar wart??? WITH PHOTO

Hello everyone,
For a little background information, I've been working in a shipping/receiving department for the past 3 years, meaning I've been handling an extensive product variety from Indonesia, India, and China. I'm not always using gloves while unpacking, which is probably why this has happened.
So as you can see in the photo, there's a small pit situated just above one of my calluses. Every so often, as to get a better glimpse of the inside of this abyss, I squeeze right around the callus area and a small amount of pus-like fluid surfaces. Occasionally there is minor pain, which stays within a centimeter of the pit. It doesn't seem radiate elsewhere.
Since this doesn't appear to be life threatening I really haven't done anything about it. Every know and again I'll apply a 17% salicylic acid wart solution which essentially dries is out. When I drip hydro peroxide over the this, a few bubbles rise to the surface. Would this suggest that there's an infection? Maybe I'm not applying the acid consistently enough....who knows. So my question is: do I have a plantar plantar wart, or is it possible that I've contracted something else?
I'm trying to skip out on a co-pay and a doctors visit, so anything you have to offer would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
From the symptoms that you have described an underlying infection and a small cyst under the surface of skin cannot be ruled out. A cyst is filled with a soft, whitish brown material that sometimes oozes out onto the skin's surface. This material is called sebum. Treatment includes small surgical opening into the skin and removing the sac (excision biopsy). But recurrence is quite common. I suggest you to get the diagnosis confirmed from a dermatologist after examination.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

one more thing....
the dryness and irritation that you're seeing north of the hole was caused by the salicylic solution and has nothing to do with the pit.
