Very painful red line in butt crack...

my sister came up to me today and she told me she had an extremely painful red line up her butt crack, from about the anus to the top.

i take care of her and i don't know how to treat this!
does she need a doctor or is this something that can be taken care of over the counter like a yeast infection??

please help, she's very upset.

Hi,

It would be ebst to get a proper clinical examination done by a pediatrician to find out the cause of the lesion.

Nothing can be said with surety without having a look at the lesions.

Till she can see a doctor, make sure that she wears lose , comfortable clothes, wash the area with fresh water, apply calamine lotion at the site to help soothe the lesion.

Let us know about what the doctor advises and psot us about how she is doing.
