Weird bites??? (PIC)

I noticed these little bumps 3 days ago.  At first, there were only 3.  Now, there is about 11.  They do not itch as much as they are painful really.  They feel like a pimple when the skin is tight only these are not pimples.  They are right under my underwear band.

IYO : If left untreated can these bumps make me sick or will they just heal on their own? I will do my best to keep them clean and dry.

Hello,

They seem like boils or furuncle. Boils are caused by infection of the hair follicle by staph aureus. . Hair follicles that are blocked by greasy creams, petroleum jelly, or similar products are more vulnerable to infection.

Apply warm compresses on the boil and keep the area clean.Drainage of the boil is done only when it becomes soft and forms a head.Take some over the counter pain reliever and consult a doctor for examination and antibiotics prescription. If there are recurrent boils, then pls get your blood sugar levels estimated.

If the bumps persist or become itchy then scabies and contact dermatitis have to be ruled out.Pls consult a dermatologist in that case.

I hope that helps. Please do keep me posted if you have any additional queries. Kind regards.
