A few months ago, I developed what looked like a calcium deposit inside my lower lip. It was very small, but it has grown a little bit in size since then. Nothing that I really notice until my teeth scrape it and it feels "raw" or something.
It was white and now it looks like it is tinged blue? May have broken blood vessels at the base because I accidentally scrape it with my teeth.
I bite my lips a lot though, so I'm thinking it has to do with that. Sometimes I have done it to the point where I began to bleed, but usually just a little bit when I am anxious. It is never painful, but I'm sure it's not good to he chewing on the inside of your lip all the time so I wanted to get some opinions before my dr. appt.
