Yes it started as a white patch b4 sexual activity which the doctor gave me thrush cream for.
The area is now full of thich and thin white lines with a grey edgeing. They are spreading, and new lines appear in white with grey edging too, start as a tiny sot and turn into thin lines.
Not so much scaly, but like a softer white skin tissue which does peel off with a little picking. If i pick away really hard, it will show a red area underneath, but doesnt bleed. This red area can only be seen when it is really picked at to the bottom. It cant be seen otherwise. It seems to puff up when wet, and reduce when dry. I have small white sports in other places under the foreskin as well, they dont pick off easilt at all. At one point the spots did clea up quite a bit, but have now re appeared in the same places.
Were the initial thrush was its replaced with a grey/brown patch.
Thanks
Hi.
You had this white patch before any sexual activity , is this correct?
Does this start as a white patch or does it initially present as something else, eg a red rash or discolored bump?
Would you say that this patch is scaly?
If yes, do the scales, readily slough off and show pinpoint bleed beneath the scales
I suggest that you have this assessed by a dermatologist. Differentials for this will be a fungal infection, a dermatitis, or psoriasis. These conditions may readily be differentiated from each other. Psoriatic lesions may present with white scales and they may affect the penis.
Have this evaluated early on so that medications may be prescribed you. I know you are very concerned about these. Just be proactive about this. Avoid intimate or sexual contact for now and maintain good genital hygiene.
